Built in 1873, the Colin C. Baker was a 3-masted schooner partially owned and captained by Browning K. Baker of West Dennis (Mass.). From its home port of Boston, it sailed the Mid and North Atlantic in pursuit of trade in coal and other mined commodities. It was abandoned at sea in 1917. From the description of Schooner Colin C.
